Gratitude. Thanksgiving.
It means so many different things to so many people. And I would be lying to you if I said I had an easy time coming up with my own gratitude list this year. I tried gleaning inspiration from every possible aspect and just completely lacked the energy and motivation to keep looking. So I asked my friends what they were thankful for instead and I got some pretty good answers!
Jenny
I’m grateful for the time, and all the Godly coincidences that have happened in my life. And of course, most importantly I’m thankful for Jesus, and the hope that my faith brings me.
I am grateful for fighting through a plethora of depressive episodes this year. Also, for those that have aided me in the fight. Without the positive influences in my life, I would most certainly be lost.
“Be thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough.” –Oprah Winfrey
“He is a wise man who does not grieve for the things which he has not, but rejoices for those which he has.” –Epictetus
“Let us be grateful to people who make us happy; they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom.” –Marcel Proust
“We can only be said to be alive in those moments when our hearts are conscious of our treasures.” –Thornton Wilder
